We are a 501(c)3 organization that assists families in need year round. Though we primarily see women and children, we help any and all members of our community that are in need. Most of our families live in the NISD area, although at this time we are unable to serve the residents of Justin. If you live in Justin, we can provide you with contact information for local support in your area.
On average, the Roanoke Food Pantry helps provide 75 families a month with food. In addition, we can help with:
Clothing
Health/Hygiene supplies
Medical/Dental care
Utility payments
Furniture/Appliances
The Christmas season is our busiest time of year; we often help more than twice the average number of families. Our goal is to provide each family with a full Christmas dinner through our Christmas Basket program, and, to ensure that each child has a special Christmas, we have our annual Adopt-A-Child program. Both of these programs are reliant on the generosity of our community.
We are thankful to have a supportive community of professionals, businesses, and individuals to help us provide for those in our area who are in need.
