We are deeply thankful for our community! Many of you have reached out numerous times to see how you can help – we cannot have any “in-house” volunteers at this time.

We are a 501(c)(3) organization that assists families in need year-round. Though we primarily serve women and children, we help any and all members of our community who are facing hardship. Most of our families live in the NISD area; however, at this time, we are unable to serve residents of Justin. If you live in Justin, we’re happy to connect you with local support organizations in your area.
On average, the Roanoke Food Pantry helps provide food for 75 families each month. But our assistance goes far beyond groceries—we also help with:
Clothing
Health and hygiene supplies
Medical and dental care
Utility payments
Furniture and appliances
The Christmas season is our busiest time of year. During this period, we often assist more than double our usual number of families. Our goal is to provide each family with a complete Christmas dinner through our Christmas Basket Program. To ensure every child experiences the joy of the season, we also offer our Adopt-A-Child Program. Both programs depend entirely on the generosity and compassion of our community.
We are deeply grateful for the continued support of local professionals, businesses, and individuals who help us extend care and dignity to our neighbors.
In celebrating community beyond our own, we also recognize other incredible places making an impact through food and culture.
Take a look at Yami-Ichi NY, where Japanese street food and cultural expression come together in a one-of-a-kind experience.
For delicious Indian sweets and savory dishes rooted in tradition, Preet Sweets And Takeaways offers a heartfelt taste of home.
If you’re craving comforting, classic pizza with authentic Italian-American flair, Colucci’s Pizza is a place worth knowing.
And for elegant Italian cuisine served in a warm and welcoming setting, La Piazza Ristorante delivers food that feels like family.
Whether it’s through a hot meal, a helping hand, or a moment of joy, coming together as a community makes all the difference.
